Sprint. No Injuries.

Before you sprint you must stride. Before you stride you must skip.

Before You Sprint
  • Skip — high-knee skipping with a forceful downward foot strike. 50m, walk back.
  • Stride — a smooth, controlled run at 75–95% of maximum speed. 50m, walk back.
  • Only then sprint.
How to Sprint
  • Stiff ankle on contact.
  • Pull the thigh forward and up.
  • Relax the arms.
  • Let your body move fully — arms drive, hips extend, shoulders rotate.
  • Land with a flat foot — not heel, not toe.
  • Stand tall throughout.
Understand This
  • Jogging and running happen behind your centre of mass — you push back. The movement is horizontal.
  • Sprinting happens in front of your centre of mass — you propel forward. The movement is vertical.
  • Sprinting is a full body movement. Spine and shoulders move. Everything moves.

PS. Sprint for your life… but skip and stride first.
